twenty-one

She looked up at the building in front of her, "Lander lives here" she said quietly to herself, "Great"

Roxy stood up, brushing herself off and walking into the apartment building. She hesitated, wanting to run but instead knocked on the door.

"He'll think I'm such a loser" she mumbled to himself.

He answered, with a look of shock on his face, "Roxy...are you okay?"

Light tears were streaming down her face and she shook her head, "No...I'm not"

"What happened?"

"I can't do this, I'll just take a cab home, this is stupid" she went to leave but he grabbed her arm.

"You don't have to say anything, just come in"

"Okay..." she followed him in and hugged her arms close to her chest, "You have a nice place"

He just shrugged, "It's home...for now I guess"

"I know what you mean" she replied still looking around, "Lander, she hates me, and it's my own fault"

"Who hates you? Mandy? How could she hate you?"

"I don't trust Taylor...at all, and I may have said some things that--you know, I shouldn't be bothering you after a game, I really should go"

"Stop doing that" he said, "If I didn't want you here, you'd know it"

"Can you do something for me then?"

"What?"

"Hold me...for a minute"

His eyes widened for a moment but eventually nodded, "Uh..okay" he wrapped his arms around her and it was hard not to melt into him.

"You're so warm..." she sighed, squeezing a bit tighter.

"Um, thanks?"

She sighed again and pulled back, "She thinks I'm pathetic for not acting on my feelings for you, while she acts on her feelings for Taylor..."

"Feelings...for me?"

"I want you...but I can't have you"

"Yes you can"

"Behind closed doors maybe.."

"I'm sorry"

She just hugged him again, and he winced. Roxy pulled her hand away to reveal blood, "Lander...you're bleeding!"

"It's nothing, I'm fine" he said pulling away.

She moved closer and pulled up his shirt, revealing a few bruises, "When did this happen!?"

He just pulled his shirt down gently, "It doesn't matter"

"She did this...didn't she?"

"It doesn't matter" he said turning away from her.

"It does matter Lander. Is she hurting you?"

"She gets a little aggressive now and then" he shrugged, "It's no big deal"

"It doesn't make you weak if she's abusing you..there are plenty of--"

"I don't want to talk about it" he snapped.

"Umm...I understand...at least let me take care of that mark on your back?"

"Sure.."

"Okay, where's your bathroom?"

"Uh...down the hall..."

"I'll clean it and bandage it, okay?"

"Alright"

As he watched her disappear into the bathroom, his mind ran a mile a minute. He couldn't believe this girl was being this sweet to him, he didn't think it was possible for anyone to be that nice to him. At this point, he wished Petra didn't even exist, because he'd take her in a heartbeat. Yet, when reality sets in, he realizes it's not that simple.

She came back and sat down next to him, "I'll try to be gentle...okay?"

He just nodded, "Alright"

She pulled up his shirt and shook her head, "When did this happen? Any longer and there'd be an infection"

"A few days ago..."

"What!? Did you have it when we--"

"No" he said quickly.

"Okay" she replied quietly, continuing to fix him up.

His head was spinning. He didn't know how he was supposed to react to her just showing up to his apartment, pouring her heart out, when he could barely admit his own feelings.

"Feel better?" she asked finishing up.

"I do, actually...thanks"

Before she could even react he turned around and kissed her. Her eyes were wide with shock, but it was hard not to give in to him. He pulled back for air, but she grabbed him again, not wasting any time. He just smirked and laid her down, "Slow down, okay?"

As if she was under a spell, she just nodded her head in agreement as he kissed her again. Slowly, but surely, they're close riddled the floor, and she felt like she was in complete bliss. His hands were soft, he was gentle with her, and he trailed his lips all over her body what felt like a million times.

He looked at the girl underneath him, and everything he thought he knew about relationships, about love, about being with someone were shot out the window. He had the most beautiful girl in the world in his grasp, and he was going to treat her like she was the only girl in the world.

"You're beautiful, you know that?" he said quietly.

"I believe it when you say it"

He kissed her again, with all he had in him. She was left breathless for a moment and took a final deep breath, "I need you right now, all of you"

He wasted no time, and gave her what she asked, and so much more.

"I'm not hooking up with him," Mandy huffed, pulling on her jacket two hours later, "Seriously, Roxanne."

"I saw you talking to him, you were close," Roxy insisted, "Stop fooling yourself."

"I'm making things work with Taylor, ok?" Mandy said, rolling her eyes at Roxy's reaction, "Just...go get in the car."

As Roxy headed to the parking lot, Mandy felt a pang of guilt in the pit of her stomach. She'd just lied to her best friend. To her face. And it had worked. That kind of scared her, considering she'd never in their many years of friendship lied to Roxanne.

Lies aside, she zipped up her jacket, trying her best to think of a way to sneak out later that night.

-

Roxy sat next to Jordan in the backseat while Taylor rode shotgun next to Mandy. Taylor was chattering happily with Mandy while Roxy was silent. Jordan seemed to pick up on the negative energy.

"You ok?" he asked quietly.

Roxanne said nothing.

"Dude, he's talking to you," Taylor said.

Roxy glared at him, "Don't call me 'dude'."

"Roxy..." Mandy warned.

"Lighten up," Taylor said with a shrug.

Roxy licked her lips, "So. How about Magnus' hattrick tonight? Pretty decent for a rookie. Someone who was picked, what, seventh overall?"

Jordan positioned himself closer to the window while Taylor looked to Mandy, who was starting to grip the steering wheel pretty tightly.

"I mean, not saying first overall picks aren't any good," Roxy continued, "No offense. I think it's just so ironic that Magnus was able to-"

"Shut up, please," Mandy snapped.

"I was just saying."

"Roxanne, if you have something to say, just say it now."

Roxy smirked, "If I have something to say? As long as we're being HONEST here, Mandy."

Mandy leaned over and whispered something to Taylor, who nodded.

"This is so kindergarten, you guys."

"Don't make me slam on the breaks."

"Yeah, well, you're gonna slam something else later."

As expected, Mandy pulled up to the sidewalk and stamped on the breaks. The city street was empty, so she unlocked the backdoors and put the car in park, "Get out."

Jordan started to undo his seatbelt, "No, not you. Roxanne."

Roxy snorted, "Very funny."

Mandy undid her seatbelt, jumped out of the car and ripped the door open on Roxy's side, "I'm serious. Get out."

Jordan sat there in disbelief, "Mandy, let's just go home..."

"No," Mandy said angrily, "Not yet." With all her strength, she grabbed Roxanne by the arms and pulled her out of the car, tossing her onto the sidewalk. She then closed the door and got back in the car, speeding off.

"Are you serious right now?!" Jordan screamed, looking back at the dazed Roxy on the ground, shrinking in the distance.

"It's fine," Mandy said calmly, "Lander lives in that building."

"And he should be home in about...thirty seconds." Taylor said, closing his phone.

Jordan settled back in his seat, "Um..."

"Don't. Say. A single word." Mandy said angrily.

Jordan didn't dare. The group was quiet for the rest of the ride, which thankfully wasn't more than fifteen minutes. Mandy stopped in front of the apartment building lobby to let the boys out, insisting to park the car and see them the next day.

"You sure you're ok?" Taylor asked before getting out.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Mandy said, giving him a peck on the cheek, "Have a good night."

Jordan waved to Mandy as Taylor shut the door. She huffed, heading towards the parking garage and waiting until she was out of sight before turning back onto the street. Guilt was starting to seep in, but anger was already overruling that. It didn't matter where she went, it was nobody's business, and right now there was only one person she wanted to see.

Moments later Mandy pushed the key into the lock and opened the door to Magnus' apartment, seeing a dark room. Haughtily, she removed her shoes and jacket and bounded into his room, flicking on the light and throwing her arms in the air, "Why are you asleep? I told you to wait up for me!"

The familiar messy head of curls emerged from underneath the dark blue duvet, showing a very tired Magnus rubbing his eyes, "Huh?"

"Ok, so it's probably almost 1am, but would you honestly give up on me after an hour?" Mandy snapped. Magnus blinked at her.

"I've been stood up before...so yes..." he replied, yawning, "Where did I put my shirt-"

"I hate her!" Mandy exclaimed, "It is none of her business who I talk to, or rather, who I sleep with. She doesn't have the fucking guts to tell HIM how she feels anyway, so why should it matter?"

Magnus frowned, standing there in his gym shorts and shirt, "Wait, what?"

"Roxanne," Mandy said with a sigh, "I threw her out of the car when we were driving home tonight."

Magnus was confused, "Threw her out?"

"She saw me talking to you after the game so she started going on about how good you played and kept putting Taylor down which pissed me off and I told her to stop but she didn't and she kept making it look like I was going to do something but I hate cheating and she never stopped running her stupid mouth and I told her to shut up but she didn't so I stopped the car and threw her out."

"Did you just say that all in one breath?" Magnus said with a smirk. His phone beeped and he flipped it open, peering at the screen curiously.

"Does it matter? Anyway she's-"

"-at Lander's. Yeah, he just texted me." Magnus closed his phone.

"I've never fought with her like this before. She just hates him."

"I don't think that's the case," Magnus said calmly, "I mean, she's worried because of what happened before."

Mandy crossed her arms, "Well, it won't."

Magnus settled himself down behind her on the bed, rubbing her shoulders gently, "You really need to just chill out."

"I know, I just have a hard time...trying to..." Mandy arched her back, a sudden wave of calm washing over her, "That feels really good..."

"Lay down."

"What?"

Magnus pushed her down gently on her stomach, "Trust me."

Mandy crossed her arms under her chin and closed her eyes, feeling his strong hands starting to work the sore muscles in her lower back, "You're...how did you...."

"It's a gift," Magnus said simply, "If it makes you feel better, Lander's just as bad as Roxanne at this point. If I bring her up, he gets all flustered. Sometimes he even mutters in Swedish about her...of course, I understand every word."

He pressed on a particularly hard knot in the middle of her spine, hearing a small whimper escape from her, "Sorry."

"It's fine," Mandy said groggily, "Could you...?"

"Yeah," Magnus replied, kneading it with the palms of his hands, "How'd you get so stressed out? Your back is a mess."

"I don't relax."

"Come again?"

"Not since my dad died. I had to take care of my brothers, take care of Roxanne, keep things running, try to make it through school...this job..."

"Well, as of right now, you don't have to take care of anyone or anything," Magnus told her simply, "All you have to do is stay still."

Mandy wasn't exactly listening to Magnus, and he knew that. Just the sound of his voice, combined with the soothing sensations of his hands, was enough to make her forget all her worries. He continued to talk aimlessly about nothing, listening for groans to make sure she was enjoying herself.

Everything was going great until he chose to run his hands along her sides, accidentally brushing his fingers along her breasts. Embarrassed, Magnus immediately withdrew his hands, "I'm sorry!"

Mandy sat up, "It's ok, really..."

"No, I didn't mean-"

"Pretty sure you've touched me there before."

Mandy grabbed his face and kissed him hard. Taken aback, Magnus parted his lips, feeling Mandy's hands venturing dangerously close to his swelling package. Once there, he exhaled a tiny moan, having hoped to keep in in, but she knew better. In a frenzy she pulled him down onto the bed, kissing him with everything in her. And just as quickly as it happened, it stopped.

"I shouldn't have done that," she said hastily, getting up, "I'm sorry. Let's just...let's just go to sleep."

Holding back his feelings, Magnus silently agreed. It was too late for anything big to happen. The last thing he needed was any more drama with the group.

"You can help yourself to one of my t-shirts in the closet," he told her, "I'm going to the sofa."

"Wait."

"What?"

"You're going to make me sleep in here?"

"You're the guest."

"Just...sleep next to me."

Magnus knew this was a bad idea, but seeing Mandy, in the fragile state she was in, made him give her the answer she wanted to hear, "Ok."

The lights out and the clock gleaming, '2:03 AM', Magnus crawled in next to Mandy and almost immediately she snuggled up to him. He awkwardly put an arm around her.

"You smell good..." she whispered.

"Thanks."

"Mmm..." she continued, "You know, I don't mind you sleeping with your shirt off..."

Magnus shrugged, sitting up and flicking on the bedside lamp. This was truly getting ridiculous. She blinked at him.

"Mandy."

"What?"

"Why are you here?"

She shrugged, "I wanted to see you."

"You see me every day."

"Well, in passing. When I'm handing out towels. Or water bottles. Or cleaning up your stall, which is a terrible mess, by the way." He smiled. "Is it wrong for me to want to come and hang out?"

"It's the middle of the night."

"So?"

Magnus gave her a blatanty obvious look. Mandy rolled her eyes, "So every time I come here, you think about...that."

"I wasn't, actually."

"You definitely were."

"It doesn't matter."

"See, I don't understand why you act so depressed whenever I talk about it, Magnus."

"Mandy, come on," he said slowly, "You know why you're here. I know it too."

Annoyed, Mandy stood up, "Don't flatter yourself."

"Does he know you're here?" Magnus asked.

"Does it matter?"

"I think it does."

"Ugh, you too!" Mandy gritted her teeth, heading for the door, "Like I need YOU accusing me of things."

"You wouldn't come here unless I could give you something he couldn't."

Mandy stopped in her tracks, "What?"

"You know how it goes," Magnus said quietly, "You ask for me to hold you, because you're afraid. So I did. Your hands will wander, so will mine-"

"Oh shut up!"

"No," Magnus continued, "It's 2 am now, Mandy. You wouldn't be here unless you needed some way to forget about what happened, about what happened with Roxanne, and Taylor. I'm not going to judge you, or say anything to hurt your feelings. But I know one thing I will do."

"And that is?"

He turned the light off again, "I'll make you forget about him."

Mandy frowned, hearing the covers rustle and feeling the bed move in the dark. Suddenly, she could feel Magnus' hands on her thighs, parting them gently. She closed her eyes as he removed her underwear, waiting patiently to see what we would do next.

She jumped, the warmth of his breath on her thighs. Gentle, tiny trails of kisses, her left to her right, kissing everywhere except where she desperately wanted to be touched. Magnus took his precious time before flicking his tongue lightly just beneath her sensitive hood.

He had her in his clutches. Holding her legs apart, Magnus started to tease her, continuing to hardly touch, making Mandy squirm. After several seconds, he pressed her mouth against her and began to swirl his tongue within her, driving Mandy absolutely crazy.

"Oh...wow..." she moaned, throwing back her head, "Oh god..."

Magnus was enjoying this; the simple act of pleasuring Mandy like this was so intimate, so...romantic. Mentally he knew Taylor hadn't done this, and if he had, never like he was. Magnus knew he had to pay attention to her movements in order to please her completely; he followed the rhythm of her hips to get her riled up even more.

Mandy herself couldn't believe what was happening. Of course, her boyfriend was in the back of her mind...but her body was overpowering her thoughts. Her lower half was in complete bliss at Magnus' expense. She kept trying to escape when it got intense, but his hands wouldn't allow her. It was only a matter of time before she'd reach orgasm.

"Magnus...I'm going to..."

He stopped, "Am I hurting you?"

"No, fuck, keep going!" Mandy commanded.

Expecting him to go back to his old ways, Mandy was shocked to feel his fingers enter her- along with his tongue still working on her! This boy had talent. Her back arched longingly as he pumped them in and out of her, hitting every single pleasurable nerve. Magnus had her in his grasp, she was his now. Mandy was spiraling into ecstasy.

In a shattering moment, Mandy let out a cry and Magnus felt her come. He smiled, crawling out from under the sheets, wiping the sweat from his brow, "Good?"

"There is...no way...you've never done that...before." Mandy said, her breath still heavy from her climax.

Magnus smiled, "Actually...I just read up on it." he blushed, "You know, just in case..."

Mandy sighed, "I need you."

"You have me."

"No...I mean...I need you. Inside me." Mandy pressed her hand against his hard-on, "Please. I can't wait anymore."

Being the gentleman he was, Magnus did what she asked. For the next three hours.

nineteen

Mandy and Roxy felt like their legs were going to fall out from under them any second. It was the first presason game at home and things had gotten busy. Running here and there, grabbing practice jerseys, gloves and anything else they could manage to even carry.

Mandy's mind was still hooked on Taylor. She was still feeling the effects of their shower encounter. And Roxy, she was starting to adore Lander more and more, but of course she would never admit that to anyone, not even herself.

Finally as the game grew closer, everything slowed down, and the girls were at least able to watch the game. As they made their way out onto the Hall managed to give Mandy a quick wink, which caused her to smile back. She was so hooked on him, maybe even more than before, and she had no idea why.

--

After the first it was already 2-1 Edmonton, and even for a preseason game, the building was pretty electrifying. This city was so excited for the potential in this team, with the number one draft pick, Jordan Eberle, Mr. 5.4 seconds and the Swedish kid, who nobody really knew about, but were already starting to see. He already had 2 points in the game, a goal and an assist, and people were starting to notice the name Magnus Paajarvi.

The second period wasn't that exciting, except for the fact Magnus scored again. Mandy was starting to see something she never really considered before, he actually wasn't that bad. She'd never really seen Magnus play, and already with 3 points in the game, she was starting to see a guy who might actually be a valuable key to this team, and this city.

It was the third period, a 3-1 game and the atmosphere in the building wasn't dying down anytime soon, even in the third period.

About 8 minutes into the period, the Lightning turned over the puck to Taylor and with the goalie diving out, hoping to snatch the puck away, he basically put it into a wide open net, making the game 4-1.

Mandy squealed excitedly as she saw the focus back on Taylor again, she was proud of him, scoring his first unofficial goal in the NHL.

"It wasn't that great" Roxy mumbled.

"Don't take this from me" Mandy shot back, "And don't pretend I can't hear you, you purposely mumble loudly so I can hear you"

She just rolled her eyes, "A monkey could have scored that goal and you know it"

"Roxy, will you please stop it?!"

Roxy finally zipped her lips and focused her attention back on the game, but in her head she was more worried about her best friend.

Then the unthinkable happened. It was a 4-1 game in the third and it was pretty safe to say that they had this game in the bag. It was halfway through the period, and Magnus nonchalantly took the puck up the ice, harmlessly shot it and all of a sudden the horn was going off and he had a hat trick.

"Did you see that?!" Roxy exclaimed grinning widely as she watched the scoreboard change to 5-1.

Mandy's eyes simply stayed on Magnus, she watched him celebrate with his teammates and skate back to the bench as a few hats here and there hit the ice. Suddenly his eyes somehow made their way to hers and her heart stopped. There was something in his eyes at that very moment that made Mandy forget about Taylor, for even just a second, and that feeling scared her.

She finally looked away and then looked towards Roxy, "What?"

"Don't tell me you missed that"

"No...I saw it"

"What got into you?" she scanned my face and a smirked appeared on her face as she looked towards the bench, "He so wants you"

"What?"

"Don't tell me you missed that" she smirked.

"Missed what"

"You so want him too"

"Can you say that any louder?" Mandy snapped.

"Mandy, it's not a bad thing...at least he knows how to treat a girl" she huffed glaring at Taylor.

"I'm not talking about this" Mandy replied, "Not right now"

For a change, Mandy was actually starting to question her feelings not only for Taylor, but for Magnus. That look in his eyes was not one friends give to each other, he meant for Mandy to feel something from that gaze, maybe the same thing he was feeling. She had to admit that this may have made him a bit more desirable, but going there could cause a whole lot of problems, no matter how much both of them may have wanted it.

The game ended 5-2 and the girls quickly kept up by cleaning and tidying after the game was over and done with. Most of the guys were out, but some of the rookies stuck around, one in particular Mandy was concerned with.

"Magnus" he turned around and immediately his cheeks flushed a slight red. She noticed it every time she came around, and she loved it.

"Hey Mandy"

"You were really great tonight"

He smiled shyly, "Thanks"

It was hard for Mandy not to see the slight muscle under his dress shirt. No, he didn't have a six pack, or chiseled...everything, but it was just enough to make her go a little crazy thinking about what she could--

"What are you thinking about?" he asked, finally drawing her attention back to his face, interrupting her thoughts.

"...alot" she said quietly, "you have no idea"

"Do I want to?"

"Maybe"

Magnus may have been the shy, sweet type but when she was standing there in front of him, fully within his grasp he had to have her.

"Mandy..."

She was not so focused on his face so much as everything else, what was under the dress shirt she was admiring, what she took advantage of the first night she had him. Everything she took advantage of when she had him, because she was angry.

"Yah?" she again looked back up at him, and saw a look in his eyes she had never seen on him before, almost desperate.

"Maybe you can--"

"Mandy" Taylor came up, wrapping an arm around Mandy's shoulder, causing Magnus to back down. Mandy saw the look turn to sadness and immediately she knew what Magnus wanted in the first place.

"Hey Taylor"

"We're all ready to go if you want to head home"

"Yah...sure thing, just let me finish up, I'll meet you in the car"

She watched as Taylor left, and looked around the hall to make sure it was empty. She got up close to Magnus, and her lips trailed his ear gently, "Leave a key" she whispered, "midnight"

She didn't look at him, she just quickly walked away leaving Magnus in a daze that he didn't want to shake out of.

eighteen.

Magnus Paajarvi was always the runt in the pack. His older brother, Bjorn, started to play hockey, so naturally as little brothers do, Magnus followed. He was immediately told he was too small, but the stubborn person inside of him wouldn't take no for an answer. Magnus knew he loved skating fast, and therefore spent hours out on the local pond, sharpening his skills until he was a faster skater than the rest. The puck handling, and the ease of his play-making mind seemed to show up later.

Behind all of this was his mother.

Hockey moms are among the most passionate sports fans, and arguably the loudest and most annoying. But Mrs. Paajarvi-Svensson was quiet, good natured, and above all things, proud. She kept her son honest and encouraged him to play a clean game. When Magnus' father would urge him to check the opposing team harder, his mother would tell him softly, "Do it, but only if you truly believe they deserve it." That was something that always went through his mind.

Now, only a few months after her passing, Magnus was wondering what she'd say now. He wished so badly to have her around, he needed her advice. Somehow he'd gotten himself tangled in a web with Mandy, Taylor and now Jordan. Everything was a mess.

Magnus had tried to talk to his dad on the phone earlier that day, but it was too hard. He couldn't handle the sadness in his father's voice, and after some forced small-talk, he wished him well and hung up. Svensson was completely heartbroken.

As was Magnus, but nobody knew about it. And that was how he intended to keep it. The last thing he wanted was to be a burden for the team. Although he was pretty sure that sleeping with Mandy hadn't helped anything.

Not that he'd ever have the chance again, he thought miserably.

Practice ended. The team signed autographs while still in their sweaty gear. After signing for everyone who wanted him, Magnus exited through the back door, leaving the adoring fans to Taylor and Jordan, the obvious favourites. It didn't bother him that much, in fact he was happy to escape the lime light for a little while.

"Magnus!"

He turned around to see Mandy chasing after him into the parking lot. Instantly he felt his cheeks flush pink. Of course.

"Hey," she said, her eyes wide with concern, "Look, I just wanted to say sorry about all the things Taylor-"

"It's fine," Magnus replied, "Really. I don't care."

"I'm going to make him apologize to you," Mandy insisted, "What he said was out of-"

"It doesn't matter," Magnus told her, "I mean it. I just want to forget everything."

"Everything?" Mandy asked.

"I was a one night stand, was I not?"

Mandy sighed, "...yeah, I guess you were."

"Exactly. I want to just move on here, our first game is tomorrow, and I want to be ready. Have to clear my head. I'll see you tomorrow."

Mandy watched him drive away, and her heart sank. She shouldn't have said that.

--

Roxy waited in the chilly October air, her shoulders hunched in her dark purple hoody. She felt a pair of arms wrap around her, and her heart skipped a beat. Turning around, she saw Lander, giving her that trademark smirk.

"Well hi," Roxy said with a genuine smile, "You look nice."

Lander shrugged, tucking in his scarf, "Same to you." He offered his arm, "Walk with me?"

Roxy eagerly took it, "Yes."

It wasn't that cold outside, but cold enough. Roxy felt herself walking close to him, enjoying the warmth he offered, and not just in a literal sense. Lander was different from other guys.

"So, you're from Sweden..."

"Timra. Eastern Sweden. Hockey town."

"Sounds about right," Roxy said with a tiny smile, "You've been playing since you could walk, I'm guessing."

"Of course! Listening to ABBA and eating meatballs the whole time, too," Lander replied, "My life story is pretty boring, actually. Played hockey until I was good enough to play for the Elite League, drafted, here I am."

"I somehow believe there's more to it than that."

Lander shrugged, "Not much. Never really had a girlfriend."

"I highly doubt that!"

"I had girls, yeah," Lander said, "But...not quite the steady type."

"Now you have Petra."

Lander grimaced, "Don't remind me."

Roxy smirked, "Your own fault, man."

Lander sighed, "She used to be pretty cool, until we started practicing...and until you and Mandy entered the picture."

Roxanne bit her lip, "I'm sorry, if I-"

"Trust me, doomed from the start, and besides...you girls made things more interesting."

"By interesting you mean having the opportunity to look down my shirt while I filled your Gatorade bottles."

"Hey, I never did that."

"Sure you did. I caught you. Which was why I always wore my cutest bras."

"I noticed, trust me on that."

"Perv."

"Hey, not cool. You did it on purpose!"

Roxy smiled, "It's easy to talk to you. I like that."

Lander gently let his arm wrap around her shoulder, "There's more where that came from."

Leaves were starting to fall, September was in the air. It was beautiful in Alberta at this time of year. Roxanne felt safe and calm next to Lander, and without the constant fear of Petra looming in on them, it was almost normal. The sun was setting and the stars were starting to come out.

"God I love the stars," Lander said, looking up at the sky, "At least, in Edmonton I do. Much more different here."

A lightbulb suddenly went on in Roxy's head. She tugged Lander's arm, "I have an idea. Can we go to my place?"

Lander blinked at her, "You mean...but we've only been talking for-"

"Not THAT," she rolled her eyes, "Seriously. Let's get a cab and go."

Once they reached her apartment, Roxy insisted Lander help to haul the mattress from her room.

"What are we doing?"

"Just trust me," Roxy told him excitedly as they dragged it into the hallway, "Ok, to the elevator..."

Together, they brought the mattress, along with a few blankets, to the rooftop of the building. Lander watched as Roxy's tiny body pulled the mattress directly to the middle of the roof, spreading out the blankets. She then gestured for him to follow.

Lander sat down next to her and she pushed him down until he laid on his back, then she laid next to him, "Look at the sky."

His eyes widened in amazement. The stars were more evident here than anywhere he'd ever seen. The moon was bright, the stars were brighter, and they danced overhead like a giant evening show, meant only for the two of them to see.

"When I was little, I used to count the constellations I could find," Roxanne said dreamily, "Did you?"

"Never," Lander admitted, "Teach me?"

She shyly reached for his hand and he laced it with hers, "Well, that's the big dipper..."

--

Mandy wiped the sweat from her brow, receiving a pat on the back from Taylor.

"Muscles, eh?" he joked, snagging a towel from her cart, "No way you put the glove dryer away all by yourself."

"Sure did," Mandy beamed, "Stop underestimating me."

Taylor smirked, "I rarely do. You just outdo yourself. That's all." He stretched, the fabric of his underarmor shirt lifting and revealing a bit of his tanned abs, "Looks like we're the last ones here."

Mandy crossed her arms, "Mmhmm..."

"I just gotta take a shower," Taylor said, "Then we can go home. Might as well go together, right?"

"So...you're saying I have to wait out here....while you take a shower?" Mandy asked him.

"Unless you wanna shower with me." Taylor said bluntly. Not that he expected her to. She'd only just forgiven him a few hours earlier, after all.

Mandy now stood dangerously close to him, "I like that idea, it's been awhile since we...you know..." She tugged at the shirt fervently. It was a pain to see him clothed.

"You know how many dudes have showered there? Lots," Taylor warned her. Mandy lifted his shirt over his head. Hello, chiseled abs and muscular hockey player arms.

"Your point? Because we're wasting time here," Mandy said, her eyes giving off a mischievous glint as she felt him over. Taylor had to smile then.

"Hopefully I can find the way to turn them on," he said moments later, flicking on every switch possible, then hearing the water running, "Perfect."

Sex in the team showers seemed like a crazy, dangerous thing to do, and that was exactly why it excited Mandy. Something new, like a fresh flavor to a drink she'd been indulging in for years. It was hard for her to resist Taylor, despite how he'd been and the way he'd treated everyone earlier. Mandy's body needed his, badly, and she couldn't say no.

Taylor was also having difficulty thinking straight. He heard her call out that she was ready, and the second he entered the steamy hot room, he was instantly turned on. Warm, hot water rolling down her body, tracing along her curves- mostly on that fantastic ass -made him feel like he was going to burst.

Mandy went for the gold right away- receiving a longing moan from Taylor.

"You like that, don't you?" she asked him teasingly, getting a good grip and working it up and down, "Do you want me to play with you a little?"

Taylor's eyes screamed with desire, "Oh fuck...please..."

Mandy pushed him up against the wall, "Let me show you how much better I am at this than she is. As soon as I'm done with you...you won't even remember your own name."

Taylor closed his eyes and heaved a sigh as Mandy brought him into her mouth. Petra who? This girl was unreal. Her tongue teased him like crazy; he kept trying to push his hips forward, but no, SHE was in control. It started to get to a point where the pleasure was almost painful. Finally, after a wonderfully agonizing five or six minutes, her beautiful eyes looked up at him.

"You want to get inside me, Taylor Hall?"

"Please," he whimpered, "I'm so close already..."

Mandy stood up and looked him in the eye, dead serious, "Then don't just stand there. Fuck me."

Permission granted, Taylor lifted Mandy up so her hands could hold onto one of the bars while her legs wrapped around his waist. He didn't hesitate and started to thrust hard, all the while she kept telling him to go faster and faster. It was rampant and wild, the two of them being drenched in water and dominating sex.

"Is that all you've got?" Mandy demanded, her legs still locked around him.

Taylor pressed his forehead against hers, growling, "How bad do you want it, then?"

"I want Taylor fucking Hall, not a wuss like Magnus," Mandy said with a smirk, not caring that she'd insulted him, "Give it to me or get out."

Taylor plunged back into her. If she wanted him, she was getting him. He pumped himself in and out as fast and deep as he could, and much to Mandy's surprise, he WAS living up to her expectations, maybe even beyond it. Taylor had to smirk, hearing that familiar sound from her as she started ride her wave.

"Taylor, oh my god," she gripped onto the bar with white knuckles, "Keep going, please!"

In that half second before he also began to go over the edge, Taylor remembered- he wasn't wearing a condom. Mandy purposely tightened herself inside so he'd experience an even better climax and it was almost too much for Taylor. In a frenzy of pleasure he tried to pull himself out in time, spurts shooting onto the floor and washing away down the drain, gone.

After they dried themselves off and starting to get dressed, Mandy admired him.

"WELL, that definitely was great make-up sex."

But Taylor wasn't thinking the same.

"Tay?"

"I don't know if I pulled out in time," he said, pulling his t-shirt on, "I mean, I think I did..."

Mandy swallowed, "Oh...well..."

"You on anything?"

"No, I'm not," Mandy said slowly, "Never have been." She shook it off, "But come on, the one time I don't use a condom won't do anything right? I mean, the odds are against me...I hope."

seventeen.

Jordan walked into the dressing room, feeling quite proud of himself. Jones, noticed a spring in Jordan's step and pulled him aside.

"What's up with you?"

"Nothing"

"Something happened, I haven't seen you this happy in a while"

"Nothing happened"

"You got laid"

"How the hell did you figure that out!?"

He just shrugged, "I was bluffing"

"You're good"

"So what happened?"

"I got laid, that's it"

"Who?"

"I'm not telling"

"Oh come on..."

Jordan kept his composure, "I can't"

"It's someone we know...challenge accepted"

"okay.."

"Roxanne"

"Fuck...yes"

"There's more to it though, I can see it on your face"

Jordan suddenly got nervous, swallowing a lump in his throat, "No"

"What else happened?"

"Nothing"

"Did you guys sleep together....more than once?"

"No...Mandy came home"

"Roxanne, then Mandy!?"

"No...Roxanne AND Mandy"

Ryan's mouth hung open for a minute before he responded, "You're joking right?"

Jordan just shook his head, "No"

"You had a threesome? For real!?"

"Yah, for real. But you can't tell anyone else"

"Lips are sealed...but I'm going to go out early for some drills. Uh...keep up the good work"

"Yah..."

He stood there for a minute, finally realizing what happened last night could really do some damage. Especially if his best friend found out.

"Real classy Eberle"

He turned around, knowing full well what happened, he knows.

"What?"

"Fucking my girlfriend and her friend?! I knew you were a horny bastard, but I thought you might have some respect for me"

Jordan stood his ground, "I don't know what you're talking about"

"I heard you bragging about your "accomplishments", so don't act like it didn't happen. I thought you just might be out at some bard last night, not with my girlfriend" he looked around and spotted Lander, "Oh, hey Lander!"

"Taylor, this isn't going to help anyone, let's just settle this, between us"

"Settle what? You know how much she means to me"

"And you still fucked Petra, don't pretend to be the innocent one here"

"She came onto me, FOR THE LAST TIME!" he exclaimed, "My girlfriend and the chick Lander's been with, you've really racked up the most points here Ebs"

"If I remember correctly, she dumped you. You don't have rights to her anymore"

Taylor raised an eyebrow, "And you do?"

"You think I planned this? They came onto me, and from what I've been hearing, and what you said about Petra, it seems like a pretty damn good excuse"

"Different situation and you know it. And we both know how desperate you are"

"FUck it, I'm sorry! Is that what you want to hear?"

"See the thing is Jordan, you're not sorry, if you even gave two shits you wouldn't have done anything"

"When I'm drunk, morals aren't always considered"

"Neither is the fact that I'm gonna pound your fucking face in"

"Oh come on Taylor, don't do this"

"It seems like a really good idea"

Lander stepped in between them, "Guys just back off"

"Oh, you wouldn't back off if you knew what he did"

"What?"

"Threesome, last night with Mandy and Roxanne"

"What the fuck?"

"Ask him, it's true"

"Okay, it happened alright, but if you ask those girls, they'd back me up"

"I guess it doesn't matter, since Lander only used Roxy for sex anyway. Oh well, seems she found a new toy"

"Fuck Taylor, it's not going to happen again, alright?!" Jordan snapped.

"Right, one time thing. I'm really curious to see who Roxy will move to next"

"Whoa, Hall, don't talk about her like that"

Taylor looked at Lander curiously and smirked, "What's it to you? You have a girlfriend"

"Doesn't mean I don't--just don't talk about her like that, she's human too, okay?"

"You're implying you actually care about her" Taylor laughed, "That's funny"

"She's nice Taylor. And I wouldn't be talking about caring for someone after what you did...with MY girlfriend"

"Yah" he chuckled, "Cause you fuck your own girlfriend, who is a huge slut by the way"

"I swear if you say one more fucking word"

"What, about Petra? You don't give two shits about that girl and you're too much of a pussy to break up with her"

"I'm not losing my career because of her"

"Ok then, well maybe I'll go take my chances with Roxy, five bucks says she'll go down easy"

Lander shot back, "Oh and ten bucks says Mandy goes down easier"

"FUck you" he said shoving Lander.

Lander shoved him back, "Try that again"

In one swift motion Taylor decked Lander in the face and Lander grabbed Taylor and tackled him into the ground.

"What the fuck is going on!?" Roxy exclaimed grabbing Lander and pulling him off.

"He's denying the fact you're a slut" Taylor said brushing himself off.

"Excuse me!?" Roxy replied looking at him and then over at Lander.

"What the hell are you doing Taylor?"

"I should ask you the same question"

"What?"

"You know what I'm talking about Mandy"

"What does it matter anyways Taylor? You are no longer a part of my life, and you have no business in what I do, or who I decide to fuck"

"Agreed" Roxy replied.

"I'm so tired of this"

Magnus showed up behind Taylor and everyone stopped, "Tired of what?" he asked, "what did I miss?"

"I'm so done with puckbunnies", Taylor said.

"Are you FUCKING kidding me?" Mandy snapped. Now he crossed the line.

"Don't tell me you took this job for the glamour of it"

"Don't flatter yourself Taylor. I did not take this job for you. You think this is what I wanted?" she said looking around at the drama surrounding her, "This is the last thing I wanted"

"You know, if you knew how to close your legs--"

"Not cool" Magnus said.

"From what I remember you love my legs"

Taylor just sighed and looked over at Magnus, "I think you need to mind your own business"

"Magnus...I can handle myself"

"This is my business"

"Oh, you want a go at her too? Be my guest. From what I can see she takes anyone"

"No, I don't. I actually respect girls"

"He already had a go"

"Wait..." the look in Taylor's eyes softened a little, "What?"

"Mandy, don't" Magnus begged.

"I went to him after I saw you and Petra"

"Pity sex?" his eyes got angry again, "Really?"

"It wasn't like that!" Magnus quickly said.

"Then what was it? Englighten me"

Mandy shoved Taylor, "You don't talk to him like that, okay?"

"Since when do you even give a shit?"

"Since he actually gave a shit"

Taylor stopped for a minute and shook his head, "Cute. Because you couldn't find anyone else to have revenge sex with"

"Stop disrespecting her like that" Magnus interjected again.

"Fuck Taylor, how did I even care about you?" Mandy was doing all she could to keep her tears back.

"You cared enough to fuck my roommate"

"Just stop it. People make mistakes"

"I told you to stay out of this Paajarvi"

"I care about her, okay? And you're not treating her right"

"Please, everyone knows you've had a thing for her since day one but you were too chicken to even make a move. I did, and the tiny chance you got, the one time she considered you, you took it, and now, is she with you? No. She won't ever be, deal with it"

"Hey Taylor, am I with you either? No, cause you managed to ruin that. We need to talk Taylor, okay?"

"I'll pass, hope you're happy. Oh, enjoy nailing the rest of the team girls"

"Taylor" she grabbed his arm and he turned around, "Five minutes"

"Just talk to her" Magnus sighed.

"If I were you, I wouldn't talk or I'll tear you a new one, got it?"

"No need for that!" Roxy exclaimed.

"Taylor, this is getting old. Just take 5 minutes to talk to me okay? You know we need to talk"

"Fine..."

"Thank you"

The two of them stepped aside and Taylor just looked over at me, "What, you want to tear me apart some more?"

"We need to talk about what happened?"

"Which, that bitch and me or you and Jordan?"

"Both"

"What's to talk about Mandy? You won't believe me, sorry a thousand times obviously means nothing to you, and you obviously don't want me anymore"

"I want you more than anything Taylor, but you hurt me, bad. You know what happened to me in high school, you know how hard it is for me to trust. And I trusted you, and you threw that out the window. I went to Magnus, and he cared, but I still wasn't over you, I don't know when I will be"

"I'm not over you either..."

"What you said out there...was really harsh"

"I want to kill Jordan"

"This isn't his fault Taylor.."

"Does it even matter anymore?"

"I don't even know" Mandy sighed. She just looked over at Taylor, running through her mind what to say next. Was this it? Was it over? It couldn't be over, could it?

"Can we fix this? I mean, it's obvious I don't deserve you"

Mandy chuckled, "I think it's the other way around"

"Ha, no, I could have easily stopped Petra..but I didn't"

Her eyes averted to the floor, and she felt a pang in her stomach, "Why?"

"I couldn't even move...it felt--"

"Just the thought of her--can I kill her for touching you?"

"Sure, I'll help"

She just smirked, "Yah"

Maybe this wasn't completely over. Maybe they still had a chance, even though she couldn't trust him, but maybe he could earn it back.

"Maybe we can talk some more later, I'm staying late tonight to get some extra ice time"

"Yah, I need to stay late too..." Mandy sighed, "Long story"

"Listen" Taylor replied, "I gotta go, but we can talk about...stuff later?"

"Sure thing, see ya"

--

"Why were you fighting Taylor, Lander?"

"He was running his mouth"

"He's your teammate"

"He said some unacceptable things"

"It doesn't even matter" she sighed, "What he said--what he said is true, and I shouldn't even be here"

"What he said was not true" Lander replied, "He was upset"

"I did sleep with Jordan"

"What's your point?"

"He's right, I'm a slut"

"You're not a slut Roxy"

"You don't even care I slept with Jordan? Not caring about consequence"

"Well...it didn't mean anything, right?"

"I was drunk"

"Okay then. That settles it"

"I should really be going, before your girlfriend shows up out of thin air"

The truth is, she didn't want to go, she wanted to stay. She wanted to do alot more than stay.

"She can do whatever she wants"

"She doesn't mean that much to me"

"Neither do I" Roxy quietly said under her breath.

"That's not true"

Her head shot up and her eyes narrowed, "What are we Lander? Fuckbuddies, that's it"

"I like you Roxy, alot"

"Like me how?" Roxy suddenly got nervous, but coudln't run, a part of her wanted to hear what he had to say. A part of her had hopes of what he might say.

"Like like you"

She stepped back and Lander swallowed nervously, "I'm sorry"

"Lander, I like you too...kind of"

"Really?"

"Yah, even though we only--yah"

"Yah..."

"Jordan was nothing compared to you, you need to know that"

"And even though things are weird, I want to get to know you better"

"I feel the same way"

"Really?"

"Yah"

"Well Mandy's staying late tonight"

"What are you thinking?"

"We could go to the East End for coffee or something? I know Petra wouldn't be caught dead there--I mean if you want"

"I'd like that"

"Really?"

He just smirked, "Yah, really"

"Okay, well then...tonight, I'll text you and we can meet there"

"See you then"

"Bye Lander"

"Bye Roxy"

sixteen.

Petra was a mean girl, but she wasn't stupid. Her heels clicked all the way from the lobby to the locker room in Rexall Place, which had just recently let the team in for full practice. It was a chance for the rookies to get used to the place, and to get ready for that opening game. But soon they'd be having their first pre-season match, against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Petra was determined to have things sorted out by then.

It was easy to find Lander. He was exactly where she thought he'd be, talking to that little pipsqueek with the huge tits. She was pathetic.

"Hey, Lander?" Roxanne approached him shyly.

"Yeah?" he ran a hand through his hair, making her melt.

"Um," Roxy snapped out of her approaching mood, "I got your spare gloves for you. They're dry now, if you want to give me the ones you've got now, so you're all set."

Lander grinned, "Thanks," and took them from her shaky hands. The sparks were starting to fly like crazy. She felt her face getting warm. He looked beautiful today, his chestnut hair soft enough to touch.

Seeing her cue, Petra shoved Roxanne out of the way and squealed, "Baaaaaby! There you are!"

Keeping his cool, Lander simply said, "Hey Petra."

"Have I ever told you how hot you are? I mean, like right now?" Petra purred, lifting up Lander's shirt and feeling his abs. She glanced at Roxy, who was struggling to pick up all the gloves that had been knocked out of the dryer.

Lander frowned, gently moving her hands away, "Petra, what the hell is going on?"

"Nothing. I just...I think I want you right now." Petra said with an evil grin. "I mean, who wouldn't?" She turned to Roxanne. "You'd have him if you were given the oppurtunity, right Intern?"

Roxy visibly swallowed.

Petra smirked, "Did I stutter? Answer me."

Roxy looked down at the floor, "Um...sure."

Lander immediately caught on and pushed her off him, "Petra, I'm not doing this right now."

"Yes you are." Petra grabbed him by his forearm and pulled him out of the locker room, leading him to the hallway, "Now you're mine." Lander helplessly watched Roxanne continue to struggle with the heavy glove dryer that had fallen as he was pulled away.

"Did you SEE the look on her face? Priceless." Petra said with a laugh.

"What the hell are you trying to pull?" Lander snapped.

Petra's face grew angry, "Do you think I'm stupid, Lander?"

"What?"

"I see the way you look at her. Need I remind you, you're MY boyfriend. And that toothpick with giant tits, is nothing."

"Excuse me? I don't look at her like anything."

Petra could feel her temper rising; she hated it when he tried to stand up to her, "If you so much as glance at her, or speak to her again...

"You don't get to talk to me like that. I'm your boyfriend, I'm not going to do anything."

She clenched her hand into a fist, "I can talk to you however I want. The second you piss me off, I can go right to my dad and tell him you RAPED me. Bye bye contract, bye bye career."

He replied without hesitating, "You need proof of that hon for him to do anything."

"I need nothing. I say the word, he drops the iron fist on your ass."

"It's really sad that your dad can't grow a pair."

"And yours will be gone if you talk to Roxanne again. I forbid you to speak to her."

Lander sighed, "Whatever, I've got a drill I have to run." He went to leave, only to feel her nails painfully dig into his arm.

"It's your call, Lander."

She released him, leaving the prickly feeling in his arm lingering.

-

Roxanne rummaged through her purse, searching for her car keys. She knew they were in there. But for some reason she couldn't seem to grasp them. And it was making her more frustrated and upset than she already was.

"FUCK, where are they?" Roxy cursed, feeling her cheeks start to burn.

"Here." Jordan seemed to appear from nowhere, bending down and picking them up off the pavement. He handed them to her simply. Roxy avoided his gaze, "Thanks."

She continued to search for the actual car key on her keyring, "Fuck, where is it?!"

"It's the big one..." Jordan said quietly.

"Thanks," Roxy replied, only to drop the keys again, feeling her cheeks start to burn, "Oh...fuck..."

"You want me to drive you home?" Jordan offered.

Roxy sniffed, shaking her head, "No..."

"I saw what she did...and I'm sorry." Jordan said.

Roxy sighed. He knew about Petra dangling Lander in front of her, "Doesn't matter."

"Yeah it does, she's a bitch."

"I meant it doesn't matter whether I care or not. What I'm doing is going to get me killed." Roxy sighed, "Don't act like you don't know. I'm sure that Lander's told you the things we've done...I mean, guys talk..."

Jordan had a concerned look on his face, "I do know, but I also know that he doesn't care about her."

Roxy said nothing.

"And the fact he keeps coming back to you...means something."

"It means I'm the only one who can keep him satisfied."

Jordan chuckled, "It means alot more than that Roxy. Lander doesn't sleep with the same girl more than once, because he likes variety, he likes mixing it up. And yet, he keeps coming back to you, instead of going to any puckbunny he can get his hands on."

"Depends on what I'm into that day."

Jordan raised his eyebrows.

"Don't give me that look."

Jordan smirked, "I see how you look at him. I wish I could look at someone that way sometimes."

Roxy avoided him, deciding instead to finally unlock her car, "I don't know what you're talking about."

"I'm not stupid, Roxy."

"I don't do relationships."

"But you still like him."

"He's great in the sack, that's it. It's not possible for me to have feelings for someone...not after what happened in high school."

"Roxy, how long ago was that? It's in the past, and come on...you two are good together, i can see it..."

"NO!" Roxy snapped, tears finally breaking free, "Jordan...I can't....he's...and I'm...midget with gigantic melons next to a God. We'd look weird."

Jordan rolled his eyes, putting up his hands, "Okay, you need to shut up, because you're gorgeous. And Lander, well...he's Lander, and obviously you two are together for a reason."

Roxy was stunned, "I don't know what to say."

Jordan sighed, "Sorry, I just...I think about these things alot...well...I'm just going to stop talking."

Roxy suddenly felt sorry for him, "I get it...you're lonely, aren't you?"

Jordan shrugged, "You'd think I'd be able to get a girl easily after my 'famous goal.'"

Roxy opened the passenger's seat door, "Get in. We can go back to my place, watch Grey's or something."

Jordan was surprised, but pleased, "I like that idea."

-

Roxanne and Jordan had never really just hung out the two of them, so it was slightly awkward at first. It was clear her heart was broken, and here he was, wishing he even had someone to pine over. Three or four beers later, Roxy was feeling pretty good.

"D'you want another one?" she asked, giggling like crazy.

"Naaah, I'm good," Jordan replied, "You're getting hammered, Roxanne."

"So what?" Roxy said with a smirk, "You wanna know something?"

"Sure."

"I've never kissed a guy with a gap between his teeth."

Jordan was taken slightly aback, "Lander's got one, I'm pretty sure you have."

"Not like yours," she slurred.

Jordan laughed, "So you're considering it now?"

"Can I have a taste?" Roxy asked, edging close.

"If you really want to..." Jordan replied, not once thinking she really would.

Before he knew it, Roxanne pressed her mouth to his, kissing him with so much tongue he thought he had died and gone to heaven. She trailed her tongue along the roof his mouth, giving off a unique sensation, and parting just as she traced it through his front gap.

"How's that?" he asked, smiling.

"Good, let me have some more," Roxy said quickly, going in for another kiss. She kissed him hard, letting her hand trail down to between his legs. Just as she expected, he was easily excited. She felt Jordan involuntarily moan into her mouth at her touch.

"I can offer you something more..." he said drunkenly.

Roxy smirked, "You see, Jordan...I have this special talent." She pushed him down on the sofa as she lowered herself to his waist. He watched in awe as she undid his belt, and then proceeded to undo the zipper- with her teeth!

"Oh god..." Jordan groaned. It'd been forever since he'd had any action, and he felt like he would burst at just the slightest touch.

Jordan's jeans had made it to the floor. Roxy teased him through his boxers, making him beg her to just get them off already. She shook her head, "Not yet."

He stared as she took off her sweater, then her t-shirt. Roxanne stood there with just her tight jeans and DD-cup bra, black and laced. Mentally he knew she'd been wearing it for someone else.

"What about Lander?" he asked. Morals for some reason came first today.

"What about him?" Roxy whispered seductively, "You know you want this, Jordan..." She purposely pulled back the band of his boxers and gently breathed on him. He went into spasms.

"Jesus..."

"You want it, and you're going to get it," Roxanne smiled, "Now, you be a good boy and let me take care of you..."

Jordan let out a groan as he felt himself dive deep inside her mouth. He'd never felt anything quite like this, watching her head bob up and down while his body was immersed in pleasure. It was hot, tight and complete ecstasy.

No wonder he was so disappointed when she stopped.

"You like?" Roxy asked, licking her lips.

"Whoa..."

"You're not as big as him, so it's easier," she said, "Hope you don't take that the wrong way..." Her hand slowly pumped him.

Jordan closed his eyes, "No...it's good...you're...mmmm..."

"I mean, at some point I'd like to do that, since it's my special talent," Roxanne continued, her hand moving faster and torturing Jordan, "But I'd have to practice on a cucumber or something, you know?"

"Yeah...yeah...oh god..."

All of a sudden, she stopped. The front door clicked. Mandy was standing there, her mouth hanging open. Busted...again.

"Oh shit..."

Mandy blinked. For some reason, she wasn't angry or disgusted this time. In a weird way, she was kind of turned on. That didn't make sense to her. After spending the entire night and day being miserable, the idea of having sex with someone else...was appetizing.

This was the chance. The chance to erase Taylor from her mind, at least for tonight. Jordan was hot, he always had been, but she wasted her time on Taylor- and in a relationship, no less! Being Roxy's best friend, she knew they worked well as a team...well, they never shared a guy, but hell, fuck Taylor. She was going to jump off the deep end, and swim like hell.

"I want a turn."

Roxy laughed, "Uh...ok?"

Jordan didn't know what to say, "You what?"

Mandy undid her jeans, "Roxy...get the lights. Let's show Jordan how we do things around here."

Jordan had no choice but to watch in shock as the lights went down low and both girls stripped down to their underwear in front of him. Mandy got on top of him and took of his shirt, sucking on his neck while Roxy continued to work her magic on his bottom half. Soon enough she got off and they both kneeled before him.

"Is it my birthday?" Jordan asked, in a daze.

"Let's work on this together," Mandy suggested.

"Good idea," Roxy said with a smirk. They both eyed his manhood, and then, at the same time, they started to finish him. Little did they know, that would take all night.

fifteen

Mandy woke up next to Magnus, and an involuntary smile spread on her lips as she watched him sleep for a moment, realizing what really happened last night. She took advantage of him, making it seem like she might actually feel something for him. Everything in the body language pointed that out. She had to leave.

She picked up her dress off the floor from last night and slipped it back on, grabbing her heels and calling a cab back home. She knew the boys would be up by now, and the possibility of running into him was big, but she just wanted to go home.

She down the hall of her apartment and heard a door open, and she quickly knocked on her door, she lost her key last night.

"Mandy?"

She turned around, recognizing the voice and automatically responded, "What?"

"Where were you?"

Roxy opened the door, not soon enough, "None of your business Taylor" she shut the door behind her and Roxy's eyes went wide.

"Where were you?"

"I crashed at Magnus'"

"Just crashed?"

She could see it on Mandy's face, after all they had known each other for almost their entire lives.

"Fine, I slept with him"

"I knew you liked him!"

"That's not why!" she responded back quickly.

Roxy narrowed her eyes, crossed her arms and looked at her sternly, "Then why?" even after all these years the one thing she could not figure out about Mandy was what went on in her head when it came to guys. She's been screwed with alot.

"I was upset about Taylor, and Magnus was right there, because I couldn't come back here last night, I didn't need to see him. I really only planned to sleep there, but I couldn't help it, I needed some kind of...feeling"

Roxy looked at her best friend and then felt a bit of sympathy. She didn't deserve this, she didn't deserve what Taylor did to her. She was finally starting to warm up to the fact that Mandy may have found a guy, a guy she could potentially love, and he throws everything she gave to him right back in her face. Petra. Of all people.

"I'm sorry Mandy, you don't deserve this"

"Nobody does"

The tension in the locker room was thick, and Magnus was doing all he could to not to go after his teammate. Yet, the fact that Mandy was gone when he got up, gave him second thoughts.

"You three are unusually quiet today" Jones piped up looking at the four rookies.

"Long night" was all Taylor said.

The rest of them nodded and Jones stood up this time and grabbed Taylor by the arm, "Jordan told me what happened last night, what the fuck were you thinking?"

"It doesn't matter, she doesn't want anything to do with me" he said as he spotted Mandy and Roxy across the hall.

"I don't blame her"

Taylor just turned his head over to Magnus, someone he thought might be able to help, because for a change, Taylor was actually hurting for what he did to her.

"Magnus?"

Magnus looked up as he finished tying his skate and leaned back on his stall, "Yah?"

"Can I talk to you for minute?"

"Depends"

"It's about Mandy"

"What about her? What you did last night was--"

"I know" he said quickly, "can I trust you with something?"

He just shrugged as Taylor continued on, "The girl is incredible and..and I may have more feelings for her than I thought. I didn't sleep last night, what I did to her was...it hur me too, seeing her cry--"

"What's your point Hall?"

"How do I fix this"

Magnus just sighed, "I don't know if you can"

"Why not?"

"You can tell, this girl she's--she's different, and the fact that you're the first boyfriend she's ever had, tells you something, she's not trusting Taylor, and she actually trusted you, of all people and you broke that trust"

"You're telling me this is unfixable?"

"Pretty much, just leave her alone, give her time, she's delicate"

Taylor just sighed and looked across at her again, "If you say so"

Magnus knew he had to talk to her, why did she leave? I mean, she knew this was his first time, and even he knew that the girl leaving in the morning, was not a good sign.

"Mandy?"

Mandy turned around to see Magnus, and again that involuntary smile spread on her face, but she quickly retracted it as she looked up at him, "Yah?"

"Why did you leave this morning?" he asked quietly, "I thought--"

"It wasn't you okay? I promise"

"Then what was it?"

"It was me, I just--" she looked over to see her boss and looked back at Magnus, "I have to go, I'm sorry"

--

"You still haven't given me details about last night. Was he good?"

Mandy kept her eyes on her work, "Yah...he was"

"What's that mean?"

"What? I said he was good"

"You seemed unsure"

"I've never felt like that before Roxy"

"Like what?"

"He said it was his first time, and it's hard to believe it after that. But he was also really different, careful, gentle, and his kisses were like--"

"Whoa!"

"What?"

"He totally made love to you, he loves you!"

"Will you keep your voice down?" Mandy whispered, "He does not, he doesn't even know me"

"Well he has some kind of feelings for you"

"And I still have feelings for Taylor"

"Even after"

"I don't get over something like him overnight, okay? Just don't go blabbing it to everyone, because I want to get over it"

"Magnus can help you do that"

"Roxy, I thought we said we weren't getting into relationships, I mean look what it got me? I'm not doing that to myself again, not here, not with these guys, okay?"

She just sighed and spotted Lander on the ice. She thought about him for a minute, what it might be like if for even just a moment they could be free. Free from Petra, be out in public together, without a care in the world, and then she looked back at her best friend. This caused alot of drama, and this isn't what she wanted when they came for this job. Everything was just starting to fall apart, and maybe all they needed to do was finish this and get out.
